Brewer’s Alley

Frederick, MD’s original brewery, Brewer’s Alley, is a proud Featured Event Sponsor of the 2011 Baltimore Beer Week. Our draft lineup features year-round beer styles that entice craft beer drinkers. From our 2010 World Beer Cup silver medal IPA to our 2010 Maryland Governor’s Cup gold medal Wedding Alt, we brew high high quality beer while considering our impact on local business.

Our Brewmaster, Tom Flores, has worked closely with Amber Fields Malting and Brewing to produce high quality barley for use in some exciting, new beers. Most recently we introduced two special-release styles brewed from Maryland-grown malts. The introductory style, Amber Fields Best Bitter, was the first beer brewed in Maryland consisting of locally sourced malt in more than a century. Following the success of that project, we brewed a Saison utilizing the same local malt and the addition of honey from HTK Beekeeping Supplies in Frederick, MD.
