Brewed in collaboration with Stillwater Artisinal Ales & the Brewer’s Art, a “Smoked Belgian Porter” 9% abv.
This complex dark ale is brewed with Franco-Belge pale ale malt, caramunich 60, Belgian Biscuit Malt, English Chocolate Malt, Carafa 3, cherry wood smoked malt and Belgian dark candi syrup and was bittered and finished with English Bramling Cross & Kent Goldings. It was fermented with de Koninck yeast. It will be available in limited casks and draft and has been brewed in our traditional open fermenting vessels and in the closed system at the Brewer’s Art (which should make for an interesting side-by-side comparison). Cask (aged with French oak) and both drafts will be available at the launch party at The Pratt Street Ale House.
Each person will receive a commemorative glass and their first pour for $5.00. Refills will be $3.00. Select appetizers will be featured pairing well with these beers.
