Mick Kipp aka Mick the Pirate has sadly passed
Mick was a co-founding member of the Baltimore Beer Week committee and served as our treasurer. His presence, enthusiasm for life and selfless nature will be sorely missed by all of us. While we are saddened beyond words, Baltimore Beer Week will push forward in the spirit Mick would want...Oogy Wawa, Good Friend!

Mick Kipp, Pickles bartender and spice-maker, dies
The mood Tuesday inside Pickles Pub, across from Camden Yards, matched the gray rainy weather. As noontime regulars ate their lunch and quietly caressed glasses of beer amid the low-key chatter and music playing in the background, something clearly was wrong. Mick Kipp, their favorite bartender, co-worker, cook, spice maker, friend and genuine all-around character, was missing. Read more.
